I have just read in the website Drovers that a new online application has been developed and launched by Spensa Technologies Inc. to help growers and pesticide to electronically track the number of insects in their crop fields so they can better control crop damage caused by insects and improve the use of insecticides.
MyTraps.com (that is available as an online subscription service) provides tools to make easier the insect data collection and to make better pest management decisions. Furthermore it shows you how pest populations evolve over time and allows you to correlate population changes with pesticide use.
It seems a well-done tool for growers and pesticide consultants, but it is not very cheap… as you can see below.
A short tutorial is available, useful also for making a tour inside Mytraps.

MyTraps has switched to yearly pricing which is must more cost-effective. Check out http://mytraps.com/plans/. An individual account is about $25/month and includes 100 traps.
